So the time has come! I'm moving back to Atlanta! Yahhh. I can't wait....Not only because I am ready to get excellent grades this semester, but because I am moving into a great place with some great people! After all the drama...I can relax.

I'm not even in Atlanta yet, and I have basically already planned out the year with my new friend Miss Marquia! She is gonna be transfer CAU PANTHER, so get familair with the face, cause you will be seeing plenty of her :) Shes a crazy like me...and I can only imagine what this year is gonna have in store for us haha.

I told her that I would give her blog post because she enjoyed my blog so much....plussss, she did choose juicy!

LIL WAYNE'S DAUGHTER REGINAE KILLED? *RUMOR*

Last night a rumor that Lil' Wayne's daughter was killed in a fatal traffic accident began to spread around the Internet. The rapper's MySpace page was flooded with condolences from fans, and as kind as that is...there is no need for it...because the girl is in fact ALIVE.

Lil’ Wayne has confirmed with AllHipHop.com that his daughter, Reginae Carter, was not killed in a car accident on Sunday night.

“It has come to my attention that there are recent reports circulating regarding my daughter. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who are genuinely concerned about Reginae and her safety.
Please allow me to dispel any rumors or speculations and report that my daughter is alive, healthy and surrounded by family who care and love her dearly. The rumors are completely false and unfounded; neither Reginae nor any other member of my family has been involved in any car accident.
My family and I truly appreciate the concern and support shown to us.”

A Joint Venture: The Real YingYang Twins!

I would like to take some time out to introduce the newest edition to All The Juicy Stuff♥ blog...My Yang sista...Miss Jessica Buck. She will now me by co-author. Jessica and I met almost a year again at Clark Atlanta University. People would always say that we were twins, so we embraced it and came up with Ying/Yang! Welcome to Singapore?

Atlanta native, Ludacris a rapper and activist has stepped into the world or food. (just what i love!) Luda has teamed up with chef Chris Yeo to give Atlanta the taste it has been missing. When I found out that he had opened up a Singaporean restaurant in Atlanta I was so excited! This is EXACTLY why I love Atlanta. With it's modern Asian decor, and it's upscale atmosphere...it fits right into its Midtown location. Being able to see an African-American entertainer opens up a restaurant that DOESN'T serve soul food (which I love, don't get me wrong) is a great thing! It's time we open up, and try new things...This will defiantly be one of my first stops when I retuern to the city!

When theres a will theres a way

So...as I am getting ready to move back to Atlanta. I have been hit with SEVERAL road blocks. At some points I would just feel like giving up...But deep down I knew that there was no way I was staying in Boston...I am atl bound!

Up until about 2 days ago I had NO living arrangements...Partially because of a lack of effort on my part, but it didn't help that everyone kept bailing on me. Now I am spending the next year in the most beautiful townhouse. And that shows that all the whining and fussing was a waste of time...Because God had a plan the whole time.

I have always had a tendency to look at a problem as being the end of the world. But, my Dad is always there reminding me that it really is only God putting something in front of me, and seeing how I an handle it. He is just testing me to see how strong my faith really is, that's all. And when I give up, I have failed. My father has always provided for me, and reminded me that EVERYTHING WILL WORK OUT.

He is always there to let me know...when things don't work out, don't worry about it, think/pray about it.

God has always worked something out for me, and I am greatful of that.

House Party 3: A Party With a Purpose

This summer I really wanted to find a way to get involved in the 2008 presidential election...to ensure that my candidate, BARACK OBAMA would make history by becoming America's first African-American president.

There are nearly half a million un-registered voters in the state of Georgia alone! (crazy!) I thought it would really make a difference in the community if I did voter registration drives, encouraging young people to register & vote.
Korey Felder of Hitt Squad Ent. liked my idea, and agreed with work with me on it.

On August 29th 2008, at Morris Brown College with the help of my two favorite ladies my Yang Sista, Jessica Buck and my girl Telice Lurch...we will be hosting a voter registration drive at Hitt Squads infamous House Party 3. I am really excited for this event because not only is it going to be a great event...I was able to get the Barack the Vote campaign to sponsor it! Last year when I was a freshman EVEYONE was at this party...I am hoping for the same turnout, with the class of 2012. We will have giveaways for people that register to vote, and encourage everyone to come out and show some support!

This election is extremely important, and Obama supporters are looking to both young, and African-American people to go out and vote.

New Look. New Name. New Blog.

I'm backkkkk.

Yeah, I know I haven't been doing my best this summer to keep up with my blogs...But I've got plenty to say. So don't worry!

I hope you guys like the new layout that was designed by Gisele Jaquenod! Shes awesome huh? When I started blogging I just wanted to write...I was too excited to start that I didn't put much thought into anything other than my posts. The old name was Access Granted...But come on, kinda whack. I decided to change the blog to All The Juicy Stuff♥ . The reason that I picked this was because on my blog I don't focus on one topic, or even stick with one specific idea...My mind is all over the place...But you can best believe if its coming from ME, your gonna get All The Juicy Stuff♥ ...

A few months back I was working on a blog entitled By My Standards. It was a blog strictly dedicated to music, by my standards...I decided that I wanted to focus mainly on All The Juicy Stuff♥ though so here I am :)

Patience

When I was 14 years old all I wanted was to have highlights in my hair. I had been begging my mother for months to let me do it, and time after time she told me no. At 14 it wasn't clear to me why I couldn't color my hair! Finally I convinced her to let me do it and the deal was...If I was grown enough to get them, then I could do it on my own. After sitting in the hair salon for hours, my "new-d0" was finally complete. To my surprise it was no where near what I had requested. I had actually wished I never did it.

Looking back 5 years later I realize how much of a stupid idea that was. I can also see that my mother had tried to teach me a lesson from this experience. Even though she continuously told me no, it wasn't until all of my classmates were laughing at me that I understood where she was coming from.

It says in the bible (Peters 2: 19-20) God is pleased with you when, for the sake of your conscience, you patiently endure unfair treatment. Of course you get no credit for being patient if you are beaten for doing wrong. But if you suffer for doing right and are patient beneath the blows, God is pleased with you. When we refuse to take things into our own hands, God brings justice and vindication to those who wait on him.

Sometimes, no matter how bad you want something it's just better to wait...Because, when you rush things or try to find another way to get what you want you are just left with disappointment. When you wait, and have patience, not only do you get what you want in the end, but because you waited when you do get it, it is so much better.

People need to stop assuming things about me. If you want to know, ASK ME! (I don’t bite...No, really I don’t). I don’t want people to think I am this high si-diddy bitch, because I am not. Yeah, I am a complicating girl to figure out but I figure that if someone cares enough to try to get to know me then it’s worth my time. It’s not that I think I am better than anyone else, because I don’t. *"I don’t look down on people, I just don’t see noone above me." (hehe)* But, for real...The reason that I am single is because I know what I can bring to the table, I know what kind of person I am...and I haven’t found someone that can comply with those two things. I am not one to settle for anything below the best...so whats the point of rushing things? I laugh, I cry, Im happy sometimes, and other times Im upset. IM NORMAL. When you see me in the club and you ask me to dance and I decline, don’t get all upset and tell me "you aint cute anyways shawty!" like, because obviously I was cute because if I wasnt you wouldnt have asked me in the first place. I like to do my own thing & I dont like people all up on me and touching me. Thats just ME!!! I go out to network, you will not find me in the middle of the dance floor grinding up on some sweaty nigga. You just wont lol. You wont find me in the club with sneakers...I am a women who is about her shit and I know that it’s all about appereance. I got my head on straight so why you mad?! Im not always serious like everyone seems to think...I am probably the biggest clown you will ever meet...and I love people who can make me laugh! Sex for me is not something to be played with. Its not a pleasureable act. To me, in order to have sex with someone, we need to be able to connect on a wholeeeeeeeeeeeee other level...Which ties into the idea of me thinkin’ I am too good for everyone who has ever tried to talk to me...I don’t play games. WTF.

Yesterday, I was waiting in line at the supermarket and I noticed that on all the tabloid covers it was Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon dressed up almost as if they were getting married...As I laughed and walked away I kept thinking... Wow these magazines must really be running out of topics! Yeah, right...Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are married. Haha. Then...When I got home and told my mother, she brushed me off, like "That's old news, your late." At this point, I began to get confused...Did I miss something?

I just want to know, what the fuck is wrong with them. Wasn't Nick Cannon already dating some model? Or were they engaged? Either way, I'm really questioning their sanity right now. As I watch Mariah talk about her new hubby and their wedding on various shows, it sounds almost as if she thinks its normal.

If it wasn't enough that they got married after dating for a few weeks, they had to really make it official and get tattoos. How many times do I have to drill this in peoples heads? MATCHING TATTOOS IS A CURSE ON A RELATIONSHIP. When I saw the size of Nick's tattoo I thought it had been digitally placed on his back as another publicity stunt.

I don't know what this world is coming to...But, I think that people need to get it together. Because this is outrageous.

I wish them the best of luck....but, I really can't say I think it is going to last very long!

Keppin' it Real!

I've never really been one to follow politics or the presidential race. Not because I wasn't interested, but because I never felt strongly about any of the candidates. They have always seemed fake to me. When you don't personally know someone it's hard to trust them. How am I suppose to know you actually care about ending poverty? ...Coming from a millionaire, that's hard to believe. To me, people in politics are not real people. With a team behind them, they almost just have to show up to places. The rest of the work has been done for them. From the speeches, all the way down to what they are going to wear it all planned. This year, it's a different game. With a women & a Black man going head to head, its so hmmm....."Un-American." And I like it, because change is good. I know that it isn't possible for all voters to have a personal relationship with their candidate of choice, but a sence of trust is necessary, and that is what I have found in Barack Obama.
The Obama family is changing the face of America, everyday. Not only are they African-American, but they are REAL PEOPLE! When I hear Barack Obama speak I feel like I'm sitting in my living room having a personal conversation with him. Now, now, now...I know that there is alot of speculations that African-American people are only voting for him because hes Black, but I really don't agree with that. I wholeheartedly believe that the reason that America has fallen in love with this man is because we all can relate to him in at least one way. Unlike other candidates he didn't "change" for his campaign. He still gets his hair cut in the same barber he has be using for years in Chicago, despite his new lifestyle. Obama is a family man, and you can see that his wife & daughters mean way more to him than becoming the president.

I actually believe everything Obama says, and believe that he will lead us in changing America for the better.

Like Family

When "Santa" brought my brother & I our cat Persia 12 years ago we were so excited! We played with her everyday, and fought over who was going be lucky enough to feed her. As we grew older we slowly became distant from her and she was in the way all the time...We never played with her, and the last thing we wanted to do was feed her that NASTY cat food.

Yesterday she went into surgery to get three tumors removed. Of course since I am the college student home for the summer, I got stuck with taking her to the vet. The night before her surgery I complained about having to wake up at 8am to get her there in time. But as the morning approched I began to feel sorry for the poor thing. As I tried to put her in her "Pet Taxi" and then in the car, I couldn't help but notice her little paw trying to escape her cage and her lonely cries. It was then that I realized that she was really like part of the family. As I walked up the vet's door I was hesitant, unsure of what they had planned to do with my cat. Thoughts like; was she going to be in pain? Is she scared? ....all went through my head. It wasn't though until I drove away that I began to get scared. As the doctor called me periodically updating me on Miss Persia I began to count down to the time we could pick her up.

When 5:45pm finally rolled around, and we picked her up...I felt like my brother had just had surgery or something. When they brought the poor thing out she was laying in the back of her cage in silence. She didn't have anything to say to us. Poor thing...We put her in her cage, brought her to this strange place and then she wakes up and she is all cut up.

Now...My brother is a jock. He thinks that hes like the "cool football player." So, I was surprised to see him so touched by her state. He was worse than me! Haha, actually both him and my Father were worse than me.

I think that my cats surgery has really made us appreciate her, and realize how much a part of our family she is. So the next time you yell at your pet, or treat it like crap, I hope that you all think twice.

Letting Go.

Life is full of disapointments. You can't please everyone & everyone is not going to please you. Some things are worth fighting for & others aren't. Letting go seems to be the biggest challange though. We think we've let it go, we anylaze it, we understand that we longer want it or need it, and we let it go. We relax and it comes right back.

Lately I been stressing myself out over an old friendship, gone wrong. Although I have moved to Atlanta I have not forgotten about the people from home & never will. Without them I wouldnt be who I am today. I've tried time after time to pick up the pieces of what was left of this friendship....but it just doesn't seem to be as important to the other party as it is to me. I've heard that sometimes people come in & out of your life like seasons to teach you something...Once the lesson is learned they move on. you move on.

Well, what happens when you aren't ready to move on? Sometimes it is just best to let some things go! God already has a plan, and everything happens for a reason. I've realized that the world isn't going to stop. Life moves on, and sometimes you just need to put down the crutches and get together enough stregth to walk by yourself. You cant force anyone to do anything and you definatly can't force anyone to say something they don't want to say.

When I'm standing tall tomorrow..Looking back at yesterday..Through the memory of my sorrow. How the dawn was so far away? I'll be far beyond the shadows..Where hearts can learn to shine .And I'll realize..The endless night was only a moment in time.

Dear friends, never avenge yourselves. Leave that to God. For it's written, "I will take vengeance; I will repay those who deserve it," says the lord. Instead, do what the scriptures say: "if your enemies are hungry, feed them. If they are thirsty, give them something to drink, and they will be ashamed of what they have done to you." Don't let evil get the best of you, but conquer evil by doing good.

Artist Spotlight: R.City

Today, you cannot turn on the radio without hearing about how many kilos someone is pushing or how many "bitches" they have. The industry has been flooded with this type of music. Why? Because it is what sells. Although it may not be the most appropriate music it is what people want to hear. This music has become so natural to us that hearing music about anything positive is uninteresting and unwanted. But Virgin Island natives R. City have found a way to connect positive lyrics with great music. With a crazy fan base back home, and a growing buzz in the states they are redefining the definition of real music.
Growing up in Houzin, St. Thomas R. City are no strangers to the ghetto. Despite their surroundings they never sold drugs, went to jail, or killed anyone...They don't drink nor do they smoke and they are proud of that. R. City are two real men that talk about some real shit.
The Interscope/Konvict group R. City offers a unique style of hip hop with a splash of Caribbean flavor that I think everyone should check out! www.myspace.com/rcitylive . People need to stop trying to be "in" and quit listening to that garbage we call music, and take the time to explore something fresh with a positive message for once.

Girlfriends?

One of my all time favorite shows would have to be Girlfriends. Every week I used to faithfully watch Girlfriends watching these four young women live out their dreams & support eachother while doing so. The reason that I was so into Girlfriends was because these four young women were four strong, Black young women. As I would watch these episodes week after week I wondered where were my girlfriends?

Because of my personality, it has never been hard for me to make friends and people have always been naturally attracted to me. But, I have always been missing that sisterhood and bond.

When I thought of college I thought of a new "grown n' sexy" life. Out with the old, and in with the new. I figured that since I was starting a new life I would be able to make friends that I could create this life long bond with. Negative. I can count the amount of friends I have made on my fingers.

Don't get my wrong, I have great friends whom I love to death...but, I want my girlfriends!

Enough is Enough!

If there is one thing people remember about me, it's my hair. I was thankful enough to be born with nice hair....

...and of course I found someway to destroy it! lol.

During first semester I had this obsession with flat ironing my hair. I would wear it straight for months and never give my curls anytime to breath! (Poor curls)
It got the point that when I did want to wear it curly I didn't have anymore curls! I figured it woud go back to normal in about a week like usual...But the week went by, the month went by, and then months went by and my hair still wasn't curly :(


It wasn't until recently that my curls are back in commision! Yahhh! People are noticing and
complimenting the "new" look..lol, see...I told you its been long. So long they think its some sort
of new hairstlye, lol. Oh yeah, duh...I should probably show you my "new" hair style huh? Yeah,
I guess I could.


They say that you don't appreciate something until it is gone, and I learned my lesson. lol, I adore my hair now & wouldn't trade it in for straight hair ANYDAY.

Whoever created the flat iron should be punished. We should have just stuck with the old school hot comb, those worked just fine!

Juicy Couture

Growing up, there was one person who I thought was my best friend. We had our good times & our bad times. But, It took years to realize that he didn't even have respect for me. Thats my boy, and I will always have his back, but we have always just been on two different page.

When I got to Clark Atlanta I met alot of people, but only made a few friends. Juice aka Juicy Couture aka MY NIGGA was one of those friends. Juice is always there with a smart remark to put a smile on my face or a pack of Backwoods. I can count on that guy for anything, hes always there for me and I really appreciate that. I hope that our friendship will only grow for the better. Arghh alright, enough with the mushy stuff lol.
